With all the voting irregularities that have happened over the last few elections, I keep asking myself these questions...what can democratic activists do in their communities to ensure that voting is honest and clean. And what can we do at the city and county level to create more favorable environments for democratic/progressive/liberal candidates? I don't have a lot of faith in our congressional leaders after their cowering response to Bush post 9/11 so I am thinking about the actions that I could take. I am a newly minted "activist" so if there are any seasoned activists out there, please share your wisdom.
